I'm now following your delightful blog and will be receiving your posts via Feedburner. My
family lives in Wayneville so it's thrilling for me to find someone blogging about that area. I'm also looking forward to reading your books.

I hope you will follow my blog as well.

Regards, Mari

And some sunshine to make them glow too. We have some flowers - just no sunshine!

You truly have a green thumb Vicki. Gardenias are my husband's favorite flower and they were my wedding bouquet.

The gardenia is one of the best photos I've ever seen you post. The pure white looks porcelian. Lovely. And how wonderful that spiderwort looks exactly like its name.

That last picture looks like a hydrangea. I have one just like it and mine is at about the same stage. I have to water it every day to keep it going because it has been so dry.

The flowers are beautiful. I expect they will get some rain today.

This time of year, when I walk I count wildflowers! As gorgeous as garden flowers are, it's such a treat to see those that grow on their own. Twelve different ones the other day.

Your blog is very beautiful and informative, Mari -- I'll be back.

The potted gardenia is on the porch by the front door and the fragrance is intoxicating!

The weather today has been very English --rain -- sun -- rain again -- repeat.
