Cats are so endearing and moreover: they are great philosophers! You almost feel what he was thinking, staring in the pond!

If not for the fact that you live in ND and I in IN, I'd say you were in my backyard. And, oh, Sam's not a black cat. Wonderful pictures of your pond! Have a grand weekend! Cathy

Clearly Eddie doesn't have time for that Friskies Ipad game for cats.

I'm surprised you can keep those fish with cats around. Lovely pictures as usual! Love seeing your dogs and cats and plants.
When my cat Jasper was about 12 years old, I deemed it safe to put some fish in our little pond here. In went six fish. Jasper watched looking every minute of his 12 years of age! Next thing he pounced, caught a fish and ate it! That will teach me.

I am not ordinarily a "cat person" but you just have to love Eddie. Great shots of one cat filled with expression.

Hi! Mountain Musings sent me to see your review of Room because I had just written about it on my own blog today. I loved that book, loved it!

I've been wandering through your blog though and will definitely be back. I'm in Charlotte. And sometimes Wilmington.

Love the picture of the dog and cat. Cute, cute! And that last picture is definitely The End.

Eddie's a little scruffy looking as I just trimmed of all the burr-filled long hair on his hind legs.

He's never, to my knowledge, caught a fish -- a mouse now and then and once a bird.

He's the star of his own show and I suspect would be all in favor of a book.

The fish are ordinary goldfish.

Welcome, Merrily! I enjoyed your take on ROOM -- I'm ordering the audio!
