Merry Christmas to you and yours, Vicki. That snow could be ours here in MN. I am half way through "..Small Things" Loving the dialect and the descriptives and characters; RedBird's about to come ot as a dancer and I feel an ill wind.....
It was a lovely Christmas -- though not what we'd planned. All day snow (4 inches and counting) kept our guests away but Claui made it safely back from SC (four hours for what is normally a two hour drive) and we had a quiet day with lots of Prosecco and good food.
I hope all of you fared as well!
Thanks you for the haiku, Miss Yves! If only I could respond in French...
Pat in MN -- so glad you're enjoying Day of Small Things!
That was an old picture, Gayle, but it's about what it looked like today.
Your home looks so cozy. Just the place to finish your manuscript after the holidays.
We've spent the week alone, but now that it is over, the tree will come down, and all will return to normal - two people, still alone, but not feeling so lonely.

That´s beautiful, Merry Christmas!
Just a cosy home
under a mantel of snow
A peaceful shelter
Merry Christmas back to you, and your family.
Santa brought us a snowblower. The driveway is cleared. Do you need any snow blown?

Happy Holidays! That looks like we usually do up here in Maine, but not this year ... yet. :-) Enjoy!

Oh my, what a gorgeous photo - the bright red cardinal in that vast snowy landscape is amazing. Such a scene of winter's splendor!
