It's not easy. But more of that later...
I am emerging just to say that I've drawn two winners for the fairy crosses -- Helen T in GA and Victoria in CA! If you all will email me your addresses, I'll put the goodies in the mail -- as soon as I can get out...

What a wonderland your photos show Vicki. It doesn't seem all that long ago you were showing us the first colours of autumn.
Just as yours arrives, our thaw is well underway. I don't think we've seen the last of it though. This morning, we have freezing fog to enjoy!
Congratulations to the winners!
Love your view from your workroom Vicki ... it almost looks like you're in a tower.
We had snow here, also cold and winds with more to come.
Dear Vicki: Congrats to the winner of said wee peoples magic items! We are getting lake effect snow in much abundance at Blue too and the ski hills are opening Friday. So no buses here today as the dump keeps coming! Businesses are so happy!
Beautiful snow! We're just having a few sad and sorry flakes drift down on a grey and windy day.
Congratulations to Victoria and Helen!
I was wondering if you were snowed in? Is your drive so steep that you have to stay put till the snow melts? Congratulations to the two winners and good luck with your proposal. Sounds romantic, doesn't it.
Blessings, Star
Still snowing. Very cold-- low twenties. Yes, Star, I'm staying put -- the steep driveway can be treacherous!
I was commenting on another blog that if I wished to look at snow I may have to drive to North Carolina and she was surprised. This is what we can see in North Carolina – lovely scenery as you show us and 3 hours of driving is not too long to watch such beauty. I hope we’ll get some snow here in Atlanta this year as it really changes the surroundings. Your pictures are lovely.
Lovely snowy landscapes you have there. We have snow here down the river, as well. But I can see a patch of blue in the southern sky, though I can also see it's still snowing on the Craggies. I do so love the ever-changing weather here.
Best of luck with your proposal.
I at your dining table looking out~~
At least I wish I was! I'm so GREEN !
nice...we got about an inch of snow over the weekend...most of it gone now but the mountains are still clothed in it...nice pics...
I love looking at pictures of snow but cringe when I see it live. Hope you get out fairly soon!
I am loving these magic winter pics Vicki. The magic of blogging.. I've never experienced the seasons so closely before..both northern and southern at the same time.
Gorgeous snowy images. We awoke to a blanket of it, as well!
We're staying put too, Vicki. I don't think it's ever gonna quit!
so beautiful! Thank you for sharing.

Oh my gosh, oh my gosh, oh my gosh! I won!! I can't believe it, I've never won anything!! And, as you can probably tell by all the exclamation points, I'm REALLY excited!!!
E-mail on the way, Vicki!
And your photos are beautiful, stay warm!
Your first commenter nailed it on the head when she said that it didn't seem that long ago that there were pictures of autumn. So true! Wasn't it 70 degrees just a couple of weeks ago? The cold and snow have descended on us like the Polar Express!!!
beautiful beautiful snow!!!
happy for the winners!
and yes the snow is pretty
Snow is already at your home!!! Beautiful... hope this year it goes easier.
