We still have some snirt piles -- snow covered with dirt -- here, but it's all melting fast. On Saturday we're supposed to have temps in the low 60s. My hatred of winter is deep and passionate, and I am so looking forward to warmth and daffodils and that first fuzz of green in the trees. The Washington area is truly gorgeous in spring. I love living here.
