We have a fence line of big white mophead hydrangeas (which I love) and one smallish blue one in the garden. Last year the flowers on the "blue" hydrangea were a mixture of pink and blue, so this year we've added minerals to the soil in hopes of getting strong blue flowers again. We'll see. It's always interesting to see how the soil a plant sits in affects its flowers.

Beautiful blues and greens. Have you tried your hand at painting them yet?

Love your blue hydrangea...and I didn't know the blue increases as the flowers open. That's sort of amazing.
You chose well.
Whoever said 'Blue and green should never be seen' must have been colour blind!
Not yet but I hope to.
