Words and pictures from the author of And the Crows Took Their Eyes as well as the Elizabeth Goodweather Appalachian Mysteries . . .
I actually DO feel cooler, thanks!Gorgeous!
Even feeling cooler here, and I wasn't hot, hot, hot to begin with! Your photographs are beautiful, Vicki!
Me too! It's a very "cool" idea!
At last. I can stop fanning myself furiously! Whew! I may even need to put on a sweater for a moment.
ahhh yes...love the pics of the sun and mountains...lol...was just telling someone yesterday i needed them to do some cool pics to cut the heat....
Thanks, that helped. :o)
Ooooh Vicki, those pictures are refreshing and just what I needed. Thanks!
Oh, that looks lovely! I want to go roll in it like my dog!
Those were some delightful photos to take our minds off of the heat!
Ohhhhhh, heaven!
Thanks, Vicki, I needed that!It HAS been terribly hot here this year, hasn't it? I'm not longing for the snow in your pictures yet, but I do yearn for the cool bright crispness of autumn. In addition to looking at icy photos, I highly recommend popsicles on the porch. :-)
Haha, good idea Vicki. I do feel a rush of cool here.
ha ha I was doing something similar this morning...looking through old christmas issues of magazines...It did feel good
Love your sense of humor!Stay cool! ;-)
I never thought I would like to see snow, but this unusually hot weather makes you think twice about complaining about the wintertime. Sam
Shall we get out the Dr. Zhivago DVD now? (Enjoyed the post!) Jim
As refreshing as a tall cold glass of ice tea! Beautiful and just what the Dr. ordered for these incredibly hot days of summer.
I'm with Karen and her dog -- I'd like to go roll in it too. Ooh, Jim, the Dr. Zhivago DVD would be perfect!
Such beautiful photos! I can feel the bite of cold air on my face, taste the wonderful coolness of snow melting on my tongue...thanks, I needed that!
Vicki -- COOL post! -- barbara
Definitely needed that.
Ha, right here it feels like that white stuff could be on the way! Don't know what happened to our summer ...
All things ice and beautiful!Elora
